Aesha Scott and her husband, Scott Dobson, “definitely” want to have kids in the future. The Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 chief stew said “I do” to the New Zealand native in March, but has so much she wants to accomplish before welcoming a little one into their life.
Aesha spoke with Bravo Insider in June, where she admitted that she and Scott will have kids when they are ready to enter the next chapter in their lives. “You just cannot be a parent and be completely present in your job,” she explained. “[Especially] a job like yachting, where it’s so all-encompassing at the same time. And I don’t want to do that.”
She added, “I just don’t know when that next chapter’s going to start. It’s still unknown. But, Scott’s so ready, he’s like, ‘If you could get pregnant yesterday, I’d be so happy.'”

Aesha continued, admitting that she does not want her future kids to “stop” her career or stop her from working. But instead, she will have to pivot in her career after having kids.
“We’d love to travel as well. So until the kids have to be settled at school somewhere, we want to keep being on the move, cart them along with us. We’ll take turns who’s gonna be the primary parent, depending on what’s going on,” she stated. “That’s the goal. That’s the goal.”

Aesha Scott opens up about her bond with Gael Cameron and her son
Aesha got to be around a baby on a yacht when bosun Nathan Gallagher and Gael Cameron brought their baby, Kayden Cameron Gallagher, on board the M/Y Akira One during Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11, Episode 2. Gael then took to her Instagram account after the episode aired, where she reflected on introducing Kayden to Aesha and Captain Sandy Yawn. “Getting to introduce our little man to [Captain Sandy] and [Aesha Scott] was so special,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “They’ve both always been incredibly supportive and have meant a lot over the years.”
Aesha then took to the comments of the post, where she marveled over Nathan and Gael’s sweet baby boy. “I love my little nephew so so so much, always there for my giiiiiiirl,” she wrote.
