Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke are now helping each other date nearly three years after calling off their engagement. The Summer House exes were engaged to be married before breaking up in September 2023, and are now very close today.
Lindsay and Carl spoke with PEOPLE in an interview published on Aug. 20 where they opened up about their friendly dynamic, which involves hyping each other up in their single lives. “We’re trying to help wingman [for each other] too,” Carl told the publication, noting that they are “celebrating each other’s singleness.”
“Yeah, a little bit,” Lindsay agreed. “I’ve given advice along the way.”
Carl revealed that he has just a few simple requirements for Lindsay’s future partner. “I want her to be respected and find someone and have fun and be treated well. And like, of course I care about whoever that is, so I’m going to be supportive,” he said. “And if he f–ks up, we’ll have some words with him.”

Lindsay and Carl first became intimate during Summer House Season 4, but didn’t develop feelings for each other until 2021, or during Summer House Season 6. They confirmed that they were dating in January 2022, before moving in with each other later that year, and getting engaged in August 2022 during Summer House Season 7.

By September 2023, the couple had broken off their engagement (which was also captured on the Summer House Season 8 finale), with Lindsay claiming she was “completely blindsided” by the end of their relationship. Carl spoke with PEOPLE at BravoCon 2023 where he admitted that they had many hard conversations leading up to the end of their relationship.
“We had a really rough summer and I think people will see that [on the show],” he admitted. “But it just shows the gravity of the situation when I really deep down felt like I needed to have a conversation about where we were at with our relationship and moving forward with the wedding.”

The exes are now good friends as of August 2026, taking the steps to repair their relationship during Summer House Season 10. Carl opened up about how much Lindsay’s friendship means to him in the August 2026 interview with PEOPLE. “I care a lot about this person. She’s been in my life for a long time and the fact that we’re where we are right now, it means a lot to me,” he explained. “And it’s been really just healthy, and I love the chapter that we’re on right now. For real.”
“We’re enjoying it. It’s been really fun,” Lindsay added.
