Captain Sandy Yawn and her crew were more than ready to welcome some new (and familiar) charter guests to Croatia on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11.
“Dubrovnik is one of the most beautiful places I’ve been in Croatia,” Sandy remarked during the Below Deck Med Season 11 premiere. “Dubrovnik has a huge, extensive coastline, diverse anchorages, and the Old Town dates back to the 13th century. They filmed a ton of Game of Thrones there. You know how they say, “Winter’s coming”? Well, for me, charter season’s coming.”
In fact, Captain Sandy and Chief Stew Aesha Scott even flew into town several days early to scout locations and familiarize themselves with all the town had to offer. “We want our guests to have the best,” Aesha explained.

Co-primaries Angela and Matt Stabile are a husband-and-wife duo who produce shows on the Las Vegas Strip, including X Burlesque, X Rocks, and X Country. To celebrate their 23rd year in business, they brought six of their performers aboard the yacht in Episodes 1 (“King’s Crash Landing”) and 2 (“Water Over the Bridge”), which aired on June 8 and June 15, respectively. Among Angela and Matt’s special requests were a traditional Croatian meal with white glove service, a visit to the island of Lokrum, and an extravagant Vegas-themed dinner.
Who are Johnny and Michelle Damon?
Johnny Damon is a retired professional baseball player who was part of MLB teams such as the Kansas City Royals, Boston Red Sox, and New York Yankees, over the course of his career, while his wife and co-primary, Michelle Damon, is a mother, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Their charter was featured in Episodes 3 (“Guestzilla on Board”) and 4 (“Infrared-Colored Glasses”), which aired on June 22 and June 29, and included an Ancient Roman-themed banquet and a dining-in-the-dark experience. The Damons’ guest, Josef, also rocked the boat by “disrespecting” bosun Nathan Gallagher after his girlfriend Adis departed almost immediately amid a heated conflict.

Pat Ryan from Kansas City, Mo., chartered Akira One in Episodes 5 (“The Deckhand Cometh”) and 6 (“Bad Seamanship”), which aired on July 6 and July 13, to celebrate his engagement to new fiancée Karen Goolsby with his sisters and friends. “One thing that brings this group of friends together is an undying love for Game of Thrones,” Aesha explained during the preference sheet meeting, before detailing how the group had specifically requested a walking tour of the show’s filming sites around Dubrovnik.
Who is Suzanne Klein?
Captain Sandy described Suzanne Klein as a “glamorous entrepreneur, world traveler, and proud dog mom to the love of her life, Sugar Baby.” After arriving with her matchmaker, Amy Laurent, at the end of July 13’s Episode 6 (“Bad Seamanship”), Suzanne spent Episodes 7 (“Match Me If You Can”) and 8 (“He Came, They Saw, It’s Bonkers”), which aired on July 20 and July 27, finding love among six eligible bachelors whom she brought aboard for the franchise’s second-ever matchmaking charter.
