Nathan Reveals “Emotional” New Details About Life With Gael & Their Baby: “F—king Pressure”

As bosun Nathan Gallagher prepares to embark upon a new yacht during Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11, he’s also sharing new details about the family he’s leaving behind on dry land. In the above first look at the season premiere (airing Monday, June 8 at 8/7c on Bravo), Nathan, his girlfriend Gael Cameron, and their son Kayden, are catching a flight from their home base of Sydney, Australia to their new temporary home of Dubrovnik, Croatia. It’s also a trying time for Nathan professionally, as he enters his second season as a bosun under Captain Sandy Yawn.

“I do know it’s going to be difficult,” he confesses to producers during the first look. “Listen, I’m still trying to find my feet in the bosun role. And I’m also just trying to find my feet in this new dad role. I want to be a good partner. I mean, moral of the story is, ‘I feel f—king pressure.’”

He jokes, “They say pressure makes diamonds. I mean, I am hoping.”

As Nathan greets Captain Sandy, she congratulates him on his new dad role, and shares a gift she has for when she meets Kayden: a red onesie with the words “Akira One” to match the crew shirts.

An emotional Nathan points out that Sandy played a huge role in his new family. “If it wasn’t for you last year, I don’t think we’d be here,” Nathan admits.
